Just want to say thank-you for yesterday. I am already madly in love with the guitar but have worn the ends of my fingers off so having to take a rest now! I never knew how much wasted effort i had put in on the wrong guitar until i got this one.
I send you the report of this splendid guitar with big pleasure. I spend happy time with her every day! When I choose the guitar, I think that it is a big risk not to test directly.
A massive thank you for your advice over the phone several months ago, my Carrillo is precisely what I wanted. Buying a guitar online worried me slightly and made me a little cautious but after studying your website for a year and then phoning you for your advice, I needn’t of worried at all! I thought I wanted an Alhambra 9p spruce but after talking to you about the sound I wanted you recommended the Carrillo and I must say that you got it “spot on”.
Dear Adrian and Selina, I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my Bernabe M-10 and to praise your customer service. I really appreciate the time you spent with me when I first turned up to see you.I valued your advice and experience in suggesting the course of action to take given my circumstances. Having returned to pick up my guitar,
I made the journey to the Stafford Guitar Centre from Birmingham yesterday. It was my first visit to your Centre and I was warmly welcomed by Sandra. I booked a place on your October Guitar playing course, purchased some strings and discussed the Tenor String Ties that you mailed to me earlier in the week. Sandra asked me to comment on how I found them once I'd fitted them to my guitar.
As you know on Tuesday 6th October 2009 I visited your studio to try out a number of guitars with the possibility of purchasing one. I would describe myself as a basic ‘plinker’ with very limited abilities and that to pay more than £1500 for a guitar would be wasted on me. I arrived and met Sandra who had a number of guitars ready for me to try.
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how pleased I am with my new M-10 and to thank you both for the advice and service you provided. She really is a lovely guitar to play with a beautiful tone. The bases are deep and resonant and are balanced beautifully against rich, warm trebles which are growing in clarity and character every time I play.
Please pardon my ignorance at not letting you know of my guitars safe arrival sooner than now. I could really tell whilst unpacking her that so much care was taken in making sure she was protected, for that i am grateful. She is a piece of beauty,
I would have offered some feedback earlier except for time pressures of work and family. Firstly, thank you Adrian for the personal time and attention you gave in helping me to choose the Carillo. Thank you also Selina for your lovely playing which gave me an insight into the range of sound possible with such a wonderful instrument. As soon as I got home I began working on "Birds Flew Over the Spire" and exploring the range of sound colours possible with the guitar.
Hello Adrian, Last June I ord ered the Carrillo 1a Estudio Spruce Guitar. It goes without saying that this guitar is easy and pleasing to play. Even though it is a student guitar, it is well balanced, has a smooth and refined feel and a clear and precise sound. Overall it is particularly appropriate for baroque and classical repertoires. I really loved it!
Now that I am off my cloud of surprise and wonder, I can say since the purchase of this guitar I am discovering new sonorities. The size of the guitar and fingerboard is up to my requirements. This guitar feels well in playing position and it offers ease of playing all across the range. I was thrilled by the sustain of high notes, sometimes needing control of dynamics. As the guitar is new with a spruce top, the daily workouts already open up the future potential, through sound quality. I feel there is much more to hear with this guitar. Great thanks Adrian,Selina, and Sandra, you made me a very happy guitarist.
Here is my comment on the Rohe guitar after playing the guitar for the past 3 weeks. I purchased the Rohe guitar from you purely because of your recommendation. Prior to that, I had almost none knowledge about the guitar.
I thought I would just drop you a line to let you know how happy I am with my wonderful Vicente Carrillo 'Gabriela', which I bought from you a couple of years ago. I have found a wonderful teacher in West Yorkshire www.chrismarksguitarschool.co.uk and have come to love learning the classical guitar! I have not rushed things but am just about to embark on getting to grips with the second movement of Concierto de Aranjuez, so I have moved off the beginner's level at last! Chris is a wonderful teacher and a beautiful player, having been a protege of Professor Graham Wade at Leeds as a young man.
It's been a few weeks now since we had delivery of the Cashimira 140 Left handed. I've had it on my 'to do' list to give you some positive feedback. Feel free to make use of any of it in your publicity if you want to.
You will remember that I bought an Alhambra 8P from your website back in January. You asked me to let you know what I thought of it after I'd had it for a while, so here goes. The guitar is very beautiful. Aesthetically is is perfect, with a classic Ramirez shape with fairly unobtrusive decorative elements - a classic design which speaks for itself.
Sorry it's taken so long to give you some feedback on the Jesus Bellido flamenco guitar. I am really pleased with the way the guitar has settled down and is developing. The basses are full, crisp and punchy and can be played hard with little buzzing. I love the depth and power of the bottom E string in particular. The trebles are clear, balanced and incisive, and can produce those melancholic tones so typical of flamenco when needed.
It has been three months since I have purchased, online, my Tomatito Aguadulce 2a Blanca. Having played the last time 25 years ago, having almost no idea what flamenco means, living in a place where testing a flamenco guiter in real before buying is not a very common option. Adding to that the mundane of small kids and a small enterprise.
I must apologise for not confirming that I have received the replacement set of tuning keys you obtained for me, from Joan Cashimiri.
Thank you very much for this excellent service. I also promised to let you know how I have found the guitar. My first reaction of course was how lovely it looks and how good the finish is.
Just a quick note to thank you for spending all that time time with me yesterday and explaining all the things that no one has ever explained so well before! Playing my Oscar Teller Model 5, 1965, last night (yes, the fog did clear and my hands started working again!), back to back with the new Bernabe,
I have now had my guitar for two weeks and should like to say how very pleased I am - she's a beautiful instrument and an absolute delight to play. Thank you so much for your recommendation and advice when I called.
