Description

The Sanchez characteristics of warmth and evenness are here with increased strength and vibrancy and an overall more full-bodied sound.

Projection is very easy under the right hand fingers as the guitar has a full resonance, and the extra clarity enables you to develop textures and colours in the music.

For example in Asturias the tone of the bass had real impact bringing out the excitement of the melodic line.

At this level in the Sanchez range there is increased separation and balance across the trebles. The middle voices are rounded and mellow giving velvety blended harmonies in Mertz for example, while the clarity highlights the fast articulation in Giuliani’s music, giving me a very enjoyable half hour exploring the guitar.

Again this is an excellent guitar for an emerging guitarist and musician. At this stage you are looking for more detail and interest in your music and this guitar is more than willing to help you to find it.

Adrian's thoughts.

The 1025 is the first guitar in the Sanchez Concert Series and this is highlighted by the attention to fine detail shown in the build. The style of the rosette is very intricate using pastel colours to deliver a traditional style rosette, central coloured ring, complemented by the directional arrows in both the fine inner and outer rings. All guitars have neck reinforcement and here in the 1025 Sanchez has elected to demonstrate this visually by displaying the ebony reinforcement on the rear of the cedar neck. Machine heads add to the quality feel with their black on gold design.
