Excellent beginners guitar

Description

The 1015 is a wonderful beginner’s guitar. Cedar top guitars usually produce by nature a very mellow sound, although the 1015’s response is quite bright. As a result one gets the best of both worlds; the cedar warmth projects well and at the edge the brightness of the guitar provides clarity of sound.

Playing with nails, the projection is fantastic and can be very loud, but even without she projects nicely. As a learner it is reassuring to know that your guitar will deliver no matter the state of your nails!

She has a good left hand action and is easy to play; movement up and down the fretboard becomes more efficient.

The 1015’s treble strings are particularly bright and then the edge of the sound resolves itself to a smoothness that is characteristic of the cedar guitar. Because the attack is so clear, she plays especially well in the bass and the middle strings (Villa Lobos studies become infinitely more exciting!).

This range of ability helps one to pick out less distinct melodies, which as a novice or intermediate player can make all the difference between playing a piece nicely and playing it musically.

Overall, an exciting and unique guitar to advance your technique and musicality.

Adrian's thoughts.

Model 1015 is the first in our Sanchez range and has been chosen for its high specification at an affordable price.
Solid top soundboard, Indian rosewood (laminated) back and sides and Ebony fretboard are the ingredients which help to deliver a lovely guitar.

Simple decoration such as the cream coloured purfling, attractive green and red rosette and gold coloured machine heads make for a physically attractive guitar that that will call you back to practice every day.
