Jesús Manuel López-Bellido y Martín was born in year 1966 into a family of craftsman dedicated to building the finest spanish guitars.

His professional apprenticeship started at the age of thirteen in his father´s workshop. Later, Jesús went to University where he received two degrees.

At the tender age of seventeen Jesús made and sold his first guitar.

From 1989 to 1995 Jesús was employed by the Andalucian Government as a teacher for the new apprentice guitar makers.

In 1995 Jesús decide to dedicate himself to his own profession, in Cenes de la Vega, Granada and started his own workshop.

In 1999 Jesús returned to his father´s workshop to work together as they had in the past. Throughout these years Jesús participated in many exhibits, conferences, demonstrations, also radio and tv programs.

In 2001 and 2002 Jesús was selected to represent Spain for the "Leonardo da Vinci Project" for the European Comunity, in Colon (Germany)
