Hello Selina

The first thing I noticed was the comparative light weight of this guitar compared to my Ramirez 4E. A beautiful guitar that has an even tone across the strings, even at the high frets. In particular, the tonal quality is exactly what I wanted for baroque pieces, especially Bach (for example BWV 996 Gigue). The Ramirez tends to be bass dominant which is sometimes inappropriate for classic pieces.

The Ainsworth has a well balanced tonal quality and volume. This has meant that I am able to try many alternative fingerings which sounded poor with the Ramirez. It’s driving me mad, but it’s exciting too!

AND The guitar is easier to play. (May be psychological)

Thanks again,
